What this website collects

This website does not provide user accounts, contact forms, analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking. When the website is requested, the hosting provider may process technical connection information such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information, and security logs to deliver and protect the service.

Cookies

The site sets one first-party preference cookie named meeguide_cookie_notice after you acknowledge the cookie notice. Its only purpose is to prevent the notice from appearing on every visit. It expires after one year and is not used for tracking.

Hosting and recipients

Technical request data may be processed by the website hosting provider as necessary to deliver the site, maintain reliability, and prevent abuse. No data is sold and no advertising profiles are created.

The MeeGuide app

The app has no user accounts, analytics, or advertising. The camera is used only to read QR codes on your device; images are not recorded, stored, or uploaded. When you open or save a manual, the app requests it from the MeeGuide server, or from the web address the publisher has linked. The server may process technical connection data such as your IP address to deliver the manual and protect the service. Saved manuals and your settings are stored on your device and can be removed in the app at any time.

Manuals from publishers

Manuals are provided by the manufacturers or installers who publish them. A manual that links to an external website is loaded from that website, whose operator is responsible for its own data processing.

Retention

The cookie preference remains for up to one year unless you remove it in your browser. Hosting and security logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s operational and security policies.

Your choices and rights

You can remove the preference cookie at any time through your browser settings. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, objection, and complaint to a competent supervisory authority.
